"Fun at the Beach" LO by DT Zsoka

Hey All!

Today we have a beautiful layout from Designer Zsoka to share with you:
Zsoka says this about her layout:
"Hi there, Zsoka here with you today with a new layout for the sketch and stash challenge! I've followed the sketch closely because I liked it as it was plus it's not a layout I would normally do! I like doing different styles once in a while! From my stash I pulled out some old polka dot paper, searched for a quote that's related to the sea and I used quite a few rub-ons (sun and clouds, What a day, Journal piece, even the mint sequins!).
I hope you'll play along with us, there's still a couple of days to do so!
Thanks for stopping by!"

"#Cool" LO by DT Marie

Happy Saturday!

Today, Designer Marie is sharing her loving layout:
This is what Marie said about her beautiful layout:
"At first, I had a hard time figuring how I would interpret this sketch. After putting it aside, I've decided to use the diagonal background and only one picture as a focal point. I then picked several elements from the lists... polka dots, plum and quartz colors, a quote and rub-ons... a lot of them! I used them to compose my background exactly the same I usually to with stamps."

"I loved this sketch so much! It was perfect for the collection of photos I had from a day outside with my family. From the lists I picked polka dots, Quartz, and Rub ons. I used some more of the Fancy Free collection with this page- I loved I could incorporate multiple papers. Such a great way to use up scraps  I hope to have inspired you to give it a go and enter this challenge!!"

For today's inspiration, Designer Asa is sharing her awesome layout:
Asa said this about her layout:

"I loved to work with this sketch +3 challenge!!!

At the moment I love to have that diagonal on my pages. Other signums for me are the thread and the stitches. I didn´t want this layout to look to cute but I added the patterned papers with hearts for some cutness. This is my son who is tired of being photographed....

Stash used:
#1: polka dots
#2: quote
#3: red

Hope you´ll join us for this challenge!"

"Lifetime of Love" LO by DT Cassie

Happy Hump Day! :)

Today, Designer Cassie is sharing her lovely layout inspired by the Sketch +3 Challenge:
Cassie shares this with us:
"When I first saw this sketch (+) challenge, I was a little stumped on what I wanted to create. I loved the squares on top of the triangle papers, so I just ran with it. I cut two pieces of patterned paper to create my background and then layered my photos and these cute little cut apart squares and rectangles to create the same feel as the sketch. For the list part of the challenge I used Pebbles and Polka Dots from the first list, Queen & Company and Quartz from the second list and Red from the third list. I can't wait to see your take on this sketch (+) challenge!"

Here's the challenge:

"Be You" LO by Rochelle

Hello and Happy Monday!

Today's inspiration is from designer Rochelle Spears.  Here's her lovely layout:
Heres what Rochelle shares about her layout:
"I love challenging myself and this definitely was a great challenge!  First off, this color combo is not my favorite. lol  I love Teresa Collins products and I wanted to use this collection.  I found the perfect photo to use (which was also a challenge lol) and decided to get busy!  Second, I couldn't find 4 photos for this sketch, or figure out how to make it work with patterned paper.  After I decided to use one photo (a tilted photo too! Yes!!) the pocket page cards were perfect to put under my photo inspired by the sketch! I also love that I had to dig into my stash for rub-ons!!! Win, win, win!!! I just love when I am challenged and my layout comes out just the way I wanted it too!! :)

For the second part of the challenge, I used: List 1 - Polka Dots, List 2 - Queen & Co. Bling & Quartz (flowers) and List 3 - Rub Ons. "

Have you started your layout yet?  Here's the challenge:
You can find more information on this challenge HERE.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great week!

"Fabulous Escape" LO by DT Sherri

For todays inspiration, Designer Sherri shares this lovely layout:
Sherri said this about her layout:

"When I was looking through photos, I found this one from our 2014 Disney Westbound Trans Atlantic Cruise. When I saw the colors, the Purple frame, Minnie's Red dress, bow, heart and purse, and my hubby's Black shorts, I decided to search my "STASH" to see what I had in those colors and BINGO! I found American Crafts Red Chevron paper ( I used the heart side ) and their Purple Dots paper (I used the squiggly line side) and a scrap of Black and white polka dot paper - I think was from Simple Stories "Say Cheese.”

I love how this layout of our "Fabulous Escape" came out! I'll have to remember to use this sketch again - as the 3 different background papers really make it "FUN!”

Come on, give it a try!!

"Lego" LO by DT Tanti

Good Morning!
How about some fabulous inspiration to start off your day!
Here's designer Tanti's fabulous layout inspired by the Sketch +3 Challenge:
Tanti shares this about her layout:

"I always wanted to scrap the photos of my son's Lego creations but I had no idea how.
This sketch was the perfect solution of my problem.
I must say that I struggled a little bit with the four squares on the sketch.
I wanted that my photos stay straight on my layout. So, I just used the squares as my photo mat and I was very happy with the result.
To complete my challenge I used the following items from the lists:

List #1: Polka Dots.
List #2 Quartz.
List#3: Red."

Here's the challenge:

"Animal Love" LO by DT Elena

Anyone have scrapbooking plans this weekend?
Here's some inspiration from Designer Elena to get your Mojo going!
Elena said this about her layout:
"We must resemble each other a little in order to understand each other, but we must be a little different to love each other...
There are no words to describe this special love. Lucy (my dog) found this puppy cat (called little cat :D) and (I don't know why) adopted her; as a mother she nursed and protected her and now they are obviously inseparable

I used polka dot (paper) from list 1, quote from list 2 and rub on from list 3."

"Playful Puppy" LO by DT Steffanie

Hello and Happy Thursday!

Here's a super cute layout from designer Steffanie to inspire you today:
Here's what Steffanie said about her layout:
"Time for a cute puppy layout for the latest sketch+stash challenge!
Here is what I used from the lists:

List 1 - polka dots (red washi)

List 2 - Queen & Co. (nails)
List 3 - red (love banner, paw prints in the pattern)
The diagonal cut in my layout is going the opposite direction from the sketch. This is more a matter of scrapbooker error than intentional design. I seem to have trouble with diagonal cuts which is probably why I shy away from doing them outside of challenges. LOL! Luckily it still worked out!
I straightened out the photo block. I don't know...just too many angles for me and I liked the look better this way. The title stayed in the same location though and then I just played around with some embellishments until I was satisfied."

Stacy Harper-Watson

Here's her wonderful layout:
"Stacy here with my Totally Love This Brilliant Smile layout that I made for the SOS Sketch +3 Challenge. I really am always so inspired by sketches and this cool one from Brenda Ragsdale was definitely a great challenge. The first thing I did was turn the sketch on its side. I decided that I wanted to use one large photo instead of 4 smaller ones so I printed out this awesome photo of my oldest daughter in a 6 1/2 x 6 1/2 size. Then I grabbed one of my kits from The Scraproom and got busy. Since the sketch was such a unique shape I wanted this layout to be pretty clean and simple so I wrapped the title work around the matted photo and then just added a few embellishments to finish. My +3 are from List 1 - Polka Dots, from List 2 - Quartz and from List 3 - Red. I love how things turned out"

Now it's your turn!
Make sure you upload your layout on the side bar before June 29th!

"Dreaming of Flower and Sunshine" Layout by DT Renee

Today we are showcasing a beautiful layout created by Designer Renee
inspired by the
"I loved the challenge this month! I have been taking tons of photos of my dad recently- so it works great for Fathers from the book. The reason for taking so many pictures of my dad is recently we've been spoiling our dog Sienna with adventures all over. Sienna and my father are two peas in a pod so of course- can't get a picture without him in it! I loved mixing a lot of my stash papers and embellishments together- with the common base of flowers and yellow! It turned out perfect :-)
\Cant wait to see what you guys come up with from this inspiration!!"

"Today" Layout by DT Marie

One of the great things about having a diversely, talented design team is that
I'm constantly inspired by their ideas.
Today Designer Marie shares her gorgeous layout
inspired by the
June Book Inspired Stash Challenge:
"Of course I had to use a picture of my husband with this book cover inspiration. He is a wonderful dad to our 2 little boys.
My starting point was the pops of yellow. I used several shades of yellow, from pale to dark, combined with ocre and brown. I added flower lace, metal embellishments, enamel dots, teinted chipboards and cheese cloth. I really like the vintage feeling and look of this layout. It's fun to get out of our comfort zone once in a while."

"How To Surprise Dad" Layout by Zsoka

Today's feature is an amazing layout inspired by SOS Designer Zsoka,
inspired by the
"Hey there scrappy friends, Zsoka back with you today with a new inspiration. This time for the book cover challenge! This one had me stumped for a moment (a very long moment that is ha!) because I was so focused on the title and kept thinking about what photos I have that would match this title... Well it took me weeks to realize I could just go back in time with my photos because I do actually have several about my boyfriend's birthday surprises etc from when our son was smaller. I found these cute photos from when we made some wrapping paper for my boyfriend's birthday presents. We just made some easy and quick (maybe not so quick!) hand prints. As you can see in the photos, my son really loved this project :). So did his daddy!
I also added pops of yellow to fit the requirements of this challenge!

I can't wait to see what you guys come up with this month!
Thanks for stopping by,"

So, I was inspired by the DAD theme, and the two kids and an animal.

"Personality Copy" Layout by DT Cassie

Hello and thank you for stopping by!
Today SOS Designer Cassie is sharing the amazing layout she created inspired by our
"I took inspiration from the book title in two ways. First I created a layout about my husband in his role as "Dad" and second those green paint splatters. In many ways my daughter is just like her dad...including the countless funny faces I always get in photos!

I created this layout using paper from a 6x6 pad and cutting it and arranging the layers so that there were a lot of angles. I loved the pops of yellow on the white background. I then finished it off with these large green splatters. I can't wait to see what you create using this book cover as inspiration!"

And the challenge that inspired Cassie's amazing layout:
